What's a deluxe room? We have stayed at Harrah's alot but don't think we have ever had a deluxe room.

At most places a "deluxe" room is a standard room.

I think Dino's right. We stayed in one of those for one of the Meets a few years back, and it was very nice. Up to date furnishings like draperies, etc.

But basically it was just a standard motel room in the very back with a view of the AC units. It reminded me a lot of the room at the Flamingo that Deb and Greg showed me once.

the newly remodeled rooms in the front tower(admiral?) are supposed to be pretty nice. pillow top mattresses, plasma tv's including one in the bath. that's what i have for october.

I stayed in one for Super Bowl about 5 years ago.
Pretty decent.

Mini bar.
Very roomy bathroom.

hmm...is like $90 a night including the Friday and Saturday a decent rate for there?

Both towers have new rooms, but Mardi Gras has the ones that arent on a damn angle!! I always request a balcony room, BUT although they have the fancy beds and TV in the toilet thing goin on, the rooms are TINY!! The regular rooms on the angle are bigger for sure. But they sell deluxe at a higher rate cause of the TV in the toilet thing I guess
I like Mardi Gras tower, its closer to where I hang. Oh and the better rooms are NOT 1000 miles away from the elevators, thats a plus!!

Wait, deluxe are a higher rate? I thought they were the standard room. They have something called 'luxury' as well.

I booked the deluxe room Wednesday to Monday for just under $500 .

Now I just need airfare!

Haha, thanks. I've still got 2 months so I'm sure I'll switch hotels 10 times by the time it actually gets around.
