This has come up a few times in discussions with friends:
What's the worst movie you ever paid full-price to see in a theater? No late-night cable TV movies, no dollar second-run theaters.
I'll get the ball rolling with "Howard the Duck". How bad was it? It had the adorable Lea Thompson in her underwear, and I still hated hated hated it.

Jury Duty. Paully Shore makes Ben Affleck look like Humfrey Bogart

While I've seen worse movies, the worst that I paid money to view in a theater was probably "Batman and Robin". What a waste of money and talent.

"The Exorcist II: The Heretic" which I think was way back in the seventies.
I can still remember, as we were waiting to enter the theater the audience from the previous showing was coming out, shaking their heads, and telling everyone "it stinks!"
Rather than take the hint we went in anyway and before long it was near chaos. People were actually hurling popcorn boxes at the screen. I've never seen such a negative reaction.

And I might get some flak for this one, but....
I didn't think I was going to live to make it to the end of "The English Patient". Dear God was that long and boring.
I actually did walk out of a Movie many many years ago, but I can't even remember the name of it now.

Stardust Boys Boy said to put him down for "Glitter" - He said he did not even want his money back, just the two hours of his life back.

No flak from me. Mine is Chariots of Fire. It was boring. All the actors looked and sounded the same.

Then there is the execrable "Crash." I didn't pay to see it in a theater but after I watched it I wished I had the two hours of my life back. Pee-yew, what a stinker.

The Thin Red Line - by that "artist" Terrance Mallick
What a piece of overblown artsy-wanna-be trash! I was so annoyed and wanted to walk out... just stuck with it. But I, and many in the theater, BOOed at the end and left in a huff. Yes, booed.

"Chariots of Fire" was a beautiful production with a beautiful title tune - but it was boring.
I remember a friend and I went to see it - as I had suggested it, hearing reviews that it was wonderful. He almost hit me afterwards.
Then sometime later, "Raiders of the Lost Ark" came out and I wanted us to go see it. He hadn't heard what it was about, so he refused to go for the longest time because he was sure I was conning him into seeing another "Chariots of Fire."
I finally got him to go, and he liked it for some reason.
Another one I've thought of is "Hudson Hawk." I really like Bruce Willis, but he has definitely done some weird shit! I just thought it was SO silly, and I walked out after about an hour.

We may go to a movie every couple months and that's mainly to entertain the grandkids with a newly released cartoon.
I normally go just for the heavily buttered popcorn.
Last month wifie talked me into seeing Indiana Jones - Crystal Skull.
I cannot remember watching any other movie where antagonists can be firing machine guns at point blank range for an hour and still miss each other.
At least the ants didn't screw around.
I walked out with about 1/2 hr to go and watched Pirates-Lands End on the DVD in my car.
Wifie couldn't leave because Harrison Ford is so

Never seen a Schwarzenegger movie? (Well, they never hit him, anyway.)

The third "Pirates" movie? That's a lot worse than "Crystal Skull!"
