with some of the newer properties? They have some decent rates in May that might be worth acting upon.

I don't think you'd go wrong staying there.

Actually they are building a curtain around the lake. Now you are going to have to pay $5 to see the fountain shows. The grounds and casinos and all down stairs amenities are still top notch. However some of the rooms are looking some what worn. I was visiting some friends staying there a couple of months ago. It was surprising.

Wow, those tight asses must really be feeling the pinch if they think they can charge to watch what has always been a free show. So when are they charging to see the volcano erupt at the Mirage?

I may have nixed this trip any how in favor of a trip to Denver instead.

You been drinking again? I haven't heard this and I watch the local news, I drove past it last week and it was normal. My gambling friends haven't mentioned it either. Simon, I think Paul was not being serious.

I would definitely say go for it. While it isn't what it once was, its still a very nice hotel. My room had seen better days, but was still nicer than 99% of the rooms I've stayed in, in Vegas.
Service is still top notch, and I like the crowd and overall feel of the casino.

I've never stayed there--but have been is several rooms (friends). I never was that impressed FWIW--the rooms I've seen had great views with good sightlines facing north up the strip--but they were small. I always preferred the much roomier suites in the Masquerade tower at the Rio. That being said--I love the restaurants and other amenites at the Bellagio.
Huge hotels like the B must have a renovation program--as the place ages--but MGM has cash flow issues--so maybe they've been suspended.

No worries Simon. Anyone who is a Formula 1 fan is all right in my book. I owe you one. Life is great hey?!
Kevin you have to be over 21 to play at the Bellagio! Get your A** back here man.
