Got the same email this afternoon.
The 32nd floor at MC is/was the Concierge floor. Bonnie and I stayed there a week a few years ago.
You get a special card key to activate the elevator to go to the 32nd floor (Cool when others are on the elevator and you get on, swipe your card and press '32'. People look at you like "Who are you"?, then whisper to their partner, "They must be high rollers or something..."
The 32nd floor, MC's top floor, has its own dining room. They serve a very nice breakfast buffet every morning, tasty lunch buffet every afternoon, and from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and open bar (mix your own) with top shelf liquor. All of this in included in the room rate, which when we stayed there was $30.00 per day (not per person!) over the room rate you had previously negotiated for a non-concierge floor room.
Shoot... a couple glasses of scotch or vodka gimlets for me and a coke or two for Bonnie and that $30 was gone..... so all the food they set out (which was wonderful) was gratis. We rarely ran into other quests in the dining room- and if we did it was only 2 maybe 3 during the breakfast hours. The host(s)/hostess(es) were exceptionally accommodating- even to the point of requesting and obtaining specific brands of liquor if not readily available on the self-serve bar.
Edited to add: another bonus to that floor is that is very quiet, with no kids running the hallways.
Edited the 2nd time to add: There is/was a Concierge available on the floor from about 8:00 a.m. until 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. to assist guests with any need.... show tix, dinner reservations elsewhere, transportation, etc.
