A couple of months ago I was in Mississippi playing at an Indian casino there. It was a game based on Texas Hold 'em, each player playing against the dealer as in blackjack. There was an ante, a bonus, a flop, turn, and river bet. The dealer was supposed to compare his hand to each player. Since I play a lot of poker, it wasn't difficult to follow for me. But the dealer was having a difficult time. He was having to look at several different hands and figure the best one. One time he mistakenly figured me for a pair when the card I matched was not on the board, but in his own hand, and paid me off.
The guy next to me's eyes got wide as we looked at each other, but neither of us said anything. Lowlimit says I should have fessed up, but I figured I was losing money anyway, so why not just take it this time? I figure it evens out when you consider I might miss one he should have paid me on after they have plied me with a few free drinks.
What do you think?
