Talk about lame, as if it's a slogan that is causing a downturn in Vegas travel/bookings. rolleyes.gif

"Las Vegas is haunted by its own image. The U.S. gaming capital's "What happens here, stays here" motto helped cement its naughty reputation during the boom.

But that marketing message has become a burden. Budget-minded tourists and conventioneers are eschewing Sin City's self-conscious extravagance, battering its economy."

I agree, Zuke.
I don't go to Vegas for the "family entertainment".
Once the economy picks up then Vegas will recover too. smokin.gif

Damn, that's nice Sco.
I could talk the wife into a quick trip at those prices.

The wifie has wanted to stay at The Paris. I would not mind at all - good location. My favorite breakfast buffet there (for its price - not insanely bad) and its easy enough to get in and out of that place. No idea about the rooms there. When you goin? We're starting to plan for next year sometime - this one is high on our list - especially at that rate!

I think it is pretty ridiculus to blame the LV downturn on a slogan. It's not like every other gambling destination isn't also suffering in this recession. Hell, that philosophy is one of the main reasons I go to LV. I've got plenty of gambling right here.
