All I do is gamble. No shows, shopping, or fancy restaurants.
Arrived at Southpoint Friday 1/8. Stayed 2 nites. Got to see Stan 3 days in a row. I love gambling with him. Had a great Chicago style hot dog (75 cents) in the sport's book. Beats any I have had in Vegas. Had one hand pay, rooms & food comped.
Sunday stayed at my friend Alice's house. Was hoping to go downtown with BC Mike & Scooby, but it didn't happen. Actually Sunday I only gambled about 5 hours at the Suncoast & lost.
Monday 1/11 & Tuesday 1/12 stayed at The Orleans. Monday I felt out of sorts. No big winnings, slept alot.
Tuesday I felt better & gambled like a crazy sailor. All toll I had 5 handpays that day. Won 3 handpays within 1/2 hour on the same machines I won on in October. Won $10,000.00 on 3 single line dollar video poker. Got a royal, aces with a kicker, & 3s with a kicker. Was on cloud 9.
Thank God I ate my cabbage and had my "lucky" acorn with me.
Met Tuesday evening with an old childhood friend of 48 years. He lives in Vegas. We went to TGIF, was great to see him. Food & rooms comped.
Wednesday I stayed at Alices again. Met up with Scooby at Suncoast. He took me and my friend to lunch, was great to see him. Won 3 handpays there for $2,000.00 each.
You know whether at Southpoint, Orleans or Suncoast (the only 3 casino's I gamble at this trip) I would sit back & take a moment. Look at the lights & listen to the sounds of the machines and gamblers at the tables. And I thought, 'yeah this is where I want to be'.
Came home Thursday & slept 13 hours.
Great trip in my favorite city!

Best report I've heard in I don't even know how long!!!!!

...and all without the aformentioned things you don't do that I do love about Vegas!
You did the #1 thing I do love to do out there TO THE HILT: Gamble!

Awesome!!
So glad to hear about the meet-ups, wins and that you took a moment to breathe it all in... I manage to remember to that each time I'm out there.
THIS is why we all gravitate to one another: We love Vegas!!!
Fantastic Kathy!

I agree with Zuke.
Awesome, Kathy! You really communicated how good you feel about being there.
Congrats on the terrific wins. I'll have to check out South Point some time.
I sure hope sometime I can join you in Vegas, we'd have a great time!
BTW I ate my cabbage too on New Year's day and I won in Reno. Not anywhere as much as you but I'm a low roller now.

Wow, I love it. I admit that I shop in Vegas, but it's mostly because I can get stuff for my grandaughter so much cheaper there than at home. The sales at the outlet mall are great for kids.
Mostly I gamble. Never as successfully as you, but I love it just as much.
Sounds like you had a perfect trip and I bet you can't wait for the next one. Congratulations Kathy.

Fantastic winning trip, Lady.
Shows, shopping and fancy meals aren't why I go to Vegas either.
Hope this trip helped you feel better.

WOW! What a great trip. I have never come close to any of those kinds of wins! Good for you!
I also like that you took some time to just let it sink in and enjoy it. I try to do that when I go on vacation too. I think I forgot to do it in Europe though. I was just so overwhelmed.
I'm so glad you had fun! That's what Vegas is all about.

Sounds like such a great trip Kathy. Congratulations on the nice wins.
I must check out South Point when I get back to Vegas.
I always like to kick back and listen to the sounds and watch the action
when I am in Vegas. That and a little people watching.
