We had a slight glitch......mostly having to do with copyright infringement, etc...
But, I entered into a very nice discussion with Anthony Curtis and we resolved the issue. wink.gif (thanks A.C.)

Q:
"As has been discussed on this site, Las Vegas is losing many of its traditional casino coffee shops. Even quite a few of those still around have given up on 24/7. On my last visit to Las Vegas, I took a chance and popped into a family restaurant called BLUEBERRY HILL on Flamingo, just East of The Strip. I enjoyed a delicious gourmet omelette together with by far the best pancakes I have had in ages. What can you tell us about this chain of family restaurants? "

A:

In a rare moment of defeat for QoD, we regret that we can currently tell you no more about this family breakfast chain in Las Vegas than you can read on their Web Site, where there's a snippet of history and information about the menu, the ingredients (they pride themselves on using fresh healthy ones), and details for the seven area locations.
We've attempted on numerous occasions during the past week or so to speak to someone there for some more background information but failed every time. The ladies we spoke with in the restaurants themselves were, we're happy to report in these economic times, friendly but too busy serving to speak with us, while we were unable ever to get an answer from the main office.

We'll keep trying and, if we do manage to get hold of someone, we'll share our findings in a future QoD. For now, the only other information we can offer is a link to the 2007 Reader Poll we conducted on "Best Non-Casino Breakfast Joints," in which Blueberry Hill fared pretty well against some stiff competition.
